Italian Chili

This is fabulous comfort food on a cold, wintery night and the leftovers hold up really well.  If you feel like you just have to add cheese over the top, I recommend Parmesan.  But really, it's not necessary.

1lb. ground beef (I used Match Meats substitute)

1/4c garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
4c vegetable broth

Served with homemade herb and cheese bread - yum!

  2. Great idea - I don't see why it wouldn't work on Low. Definitely still wait until the last 15 min. or so to add the pasta though so it doesn't turn to mush during the day. :)

  3. Thank you so much for this recipe. We made this for Christmas Eve and it was perfect. Definitely double recipe so there are leftovers. One pot served 8 of us a generous amount. Sharing this with everyone.
