Awesome Old Bay Pork Chops

We love Old Bay seasoning around here and have used it on seafood, chicken, vegetables, and pasta but had never tried it on pork chops - until last night.

OMG!  It was soooo good!!!

I made a marinade of 1/2c. olive oil, 1/2c. apple cider vinegar, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tsp. dried basil. 1 TBSP Old Bay, the juice of one lime, salt, and pepper.

Added 4 boneless pork chops and marinated for almost 4 hrs. in the fridge, turning every so often.

Sprinkled with more Old Bay, salt, pepper, and just a touch of paprika.

Baked about 30 min. at 350* until done.

No leftovers here!

  1. Yum, that looks wonderful! I just picked up some Old Bay seasoning a couple days ago, I have never been able to find it before so we have never tried it. This looks like the perfect way to give it a try!

  2. I wish I would have had time to read this this morning. Hubby loves pork chops (me not so much) but I have not inspiration for cooking them. I made pork chops tonight...in cider vinegar...but your additions sound divine. I am cutting and pasting for the future.

  7. These are really good and have a nice tangy flavor to them. I'm going to have to save the recipe. My dad and sister really liked them. I also have a 3 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. Every evening I usually have to fight them to eat their meat but, they ate it no problem and loved it. Usually, my pork chops are tough to chew but, these were really tender. Thanks!
